Bengal Tea & Fab Q1 net profit up 34.75% at Rs 8.22 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 8.22 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 as compared to Rs 6.10 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 34.75 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose by 0.65 per cent at Rs 9.23 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 9.17 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During April-June quarter, operating expenses dropped by 6.13 per cent to Rs 8.73 crore from Rs 9.30 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 15.50 per cent at Rs 10.73 crore versus (Jun'25 Rs 9.29 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 484.62 per cent to Rs 0.50 crore as against Rs -0.13 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 481.69 per cent in June quarter.

Interest grew by 33.33 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.16 crore, while Taxation decreased by 7.73 per cent at Rs 2.15 crore (Jun'25 Rs 2.33 crore).
