Maruti Suzuki Eeco crosses 15 lakh sales milestone in India

Maruti Suzuki India Limited announced that its Eeco van has crossed the 15 lakh cumulative sales milestone since its launch in January 2010, strengthening its leadership in India’s van segment.

The company highlighted that Eeco’s sales momentum has accelerated over the years. While the first 5 lakh units took eight years, the next 5 lakh were sold in under five years, and the latest 5 lakh units were achieved in just 3.5 years, marking the fastest milestone in the model’s journey.

Eeco has a strong presence in rural markets, which contributed 65% of its sales in FY26. First-time buyers account for 55% of customers, while more than 51% are business owners.

The Eeco is available in 13 variants, covering passenger, cargo, Tour V and ambulance applications, with petrol and S-CNG options. The share of S-CNG in Eeco sales has risen sharply from 12% in FY20 to 48% in FY26.

To mark the milestone, Maruti Suzuki has introduced the Eeco Star Edition, featuring 18 additional exterior and interior accessories along with body-coloured bumpers for a more premium appearance.
