Maruti Suzuki to raise prices by up to Rs 20,000 on select models

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd has announced a price increase of up to Rs 20,000 on selected models, effective September 2026, citing a sustained rise in input costs.

The company said it has undertaken several cost-reduction measures over the past few months to absorb the impact of higher costs. However, persistent inflationary pressures and an adverse cost environment have prompted the company to pass on a portion of the increased costs to customers.

Maruti Suzuki said it will continue efforts to minimise the impact on customers while managing the elevated input-cost environment.
