Marsons Limited has appointed Mr. Rajiv Gupta as an Independent Director to its Board, bringing over 35 years of experience in the power and renewable energy sector.

Gupta has previously served as Chief Executive Officer of NTPC Green Energy Limited and NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, where he was involved in strategic initiatives, renewable energy capacity expansion and project operations.

During his career with NTPC Limited, he also held senior positions including Chief General Manager and General Manager, handling large-scale energy projects, project execution, contract management, corporate strategy and policy implementation.

He currently serves as a Consultant with Advance Corporate Advisory Private Limited, advising on energy, infrastructure and corporate governance matters.

Marsons said Gupta's appointment will add expertise in renewable energy strategy and infrastructure execution as the company expands and diversifies its presence in the sector. His appointment follows the induction of Debashish Sarkar, former Managing Director and Director (Technical) of Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited, as an Additional Non-Executive Director earlier this year.
