LG Electronics India has entered the chest freezer market in India with the launch of its new Convertible Chest Freezer range, expanding its refrigeration portfolio for commercial and household applications.

The range is aimed at businesses across retail, HoReCa, dairy, ice cream, pharmaceuticals and food storage, offering convertible cooling technology that allows users to switch between chilling and deep-freezing modes.

The portfolio comprises six models across 102L, 205L, 315L and 530L capacities. Select PRO models offer a temperature range of -31øC to +10øC, along with features such as one-touch convertible operation, Ultra Freeze, digital temperature controls and displays.

The 315L and 530L PRO models carry BEE 5-star ratings, while the range also includes 3-star and 4-star variants. The freezers feature enhanced insulation, including a 70mm PUF-insulated cabinet and 75mm insulated door, along with UV-protected bodies, removable gaskets and castor wheels with brakes.

Prices for the new range start at Rs 28,990, with the 530L PRO model priced at Rs 62,990.
