Lehar Footwears Limited has appointed Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao as the brand ambassador for its in-house athleisure brand Rannr, as the company looks to expand its presence in India's growing footwear market.

Rannr offers sports, running, walking and lifestyle footwear, targeting consumers seeking a combination of style, comfort, performance and value. The brand is present across direct-to-consumer, e-commerce and offline channels.

Under the partnership, Rajkummar Rao will feature in Rannr's upcoming digital, e-commerce, retail, print and outdoor campaigns.

The association comes as Rannr expands across India's sports, athleisure and closed-footwear segments, leveraging Lehar Footwears' established manufacturing and distribution network.
