Ashok Leyland September sales rise 28% to 24,409 units

Ashok Leyland reported a 28% year-on-year increase in total vehicle sales to 24,409 units in September 2026, compared with 18,813 units sold in the same month last year.

The company’s truck and bus sales climbed 37% to 16,188 units during the month, up from 11,808 vehicles in September 2025.

The strong performance was led by higher sales across the company’s commercial vehicle portfolio, supporting overall volume growth during the month.
