Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has secured multiple EPC orders for its Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) business across India and overseas markets, strengthening its presence in power infrastructure and renewable energy integration.
In Saudi Arabia, L&T has won contracts in the 380 kV transmission and substation segments. The projects are aimed at expanding transmission capacity and supporting renewable energy evacuation, contributing to the country’s efforts to strengthen its power grid.
In the United Arab Emirates, L&T’s PT&D business has secured an order for the construction of 132/11 kV substations along with associated cabling works.
In India, the company has received an order from a leading private-sector developer to establish a transmission system in Visakhapatnam, comprising transmission lines and substations.
L&T said the latest wins highlight its engineering and project execution capabilities across multiple geographies. The company expects rising demand for grid strengthening, renewable energy integration and related power infrastructure to support growth in its PT&D business.
