Airtel introduces free International roaming benefit on new postpaid plans

Bharti Airtel has launched new postpaid plans offering customers one complimentary international roaming pack every year, effective October 8, 2026.

The free five-day roaming pack includes 5GB data, 60 minutes of calls, 25 outgoing SMS and unlimited incoming SMS. Customers can activate the benefit at a time of their choice, while Airtel Postpaid family-plan users can avail the benefit for each family member on the plan.

The new plans also offer benefits such as Fast Lane 5G, unlimited data, spam and fraud protection, entertainment subscriptions and access to the Airtel Postpaid Advantage Club.

Existing Airtel customers can upgrade through the Airtel App or Airtel stores, while non-Airtel users can switch to the new postpaid plans through the same channels.
